Ingredients


Makes: 1 large or 2 small cheese balls
  • 4 Tbsp (60 ml) Epicure Onion & Bacon Cheese Ball Seasoning
  • 1 pkg (8 oz/250 g) brick light cream cheese
  • 3 Tbsp (45 ml) low-fat milk
  • 1 C (250 ml) finely grated cheddar cheese

Preparation


 
  • In a food processor or electric mixer, mix 3 Tbsp (45 ml) Onion & Bacon Cheese Ball Seasoning with cream cheese, milk, and cheddar.
  • Form into a ball and roll in 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Onion & Bacon Cheese Ball Seasoning to coat.
  • Refrigerate for a few hours, or overnight. Remove from fridge 30 minutes before serving.
  • Chef Tip: For a delicious nutty version, roll Cheese Ball in 1 cup (250 ml) chopped walnuts or pecans instead of Epicure Onion & Bacon Cheese Ball Seasoning.
  • Preparation Tip: For a great bagel spread, mix 2 Tbsp (30 ml) Epicure Cheese Ball Seasoning with 1 — 8 oz (250 g) container light spreadable cream cheese.
  • Serving Suggestion: Serve with crackers, Melba toasts, or sliced baguette.
