Makes 8 servings
  • 6 C (1,5 L) shredded green cabbage
  • 4 C (1 L) shredded red cabbage
  • 6 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 red apple, diced, skin on
  • 1 green apple, diced, skin on
  • 1/2 C (125 ml) chopped walnuts
  • Dressing:
  • 2/3 C (160 ml) vegetable oil
  • 2/3 C (160 ml) vinegar, your choice
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing Mix, or Epicure Italian Dressing Seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) sugar
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Dijon-style mustard
  • Sea Salt (Grinder), to taste
  • Black Pepper (Grinder), to taste

Preparation


 
  • Combine cabbage, onions and apples in large bowl.
  • Whisk together dressing ingredients. Add to coleslaw, stirring to combine all ingredients. Sprinkle walnuts over top.
