Makes: 8 servings
  • 1 C (250 ml) sour cream
  • 1 pkg Herb & Garlic Dip Mix, sampler, about 1 tbsp
  • 6 medium potatoes, such as Russet or Yukon Gold
  • 1/4 C (60 ml) milk, your choice
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) butter or margarine (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) Sea Salt (Grinder), (optional)


  • In bowl, combine sour cream with dip mix. Set aside.
  • Peel potatoes; cut into 1" cubes. Place in Multipurpose Steamer.
  • Microwave on high, covered, for 15 min, stirring every 5 min.
  • Mash potatoes to desired consistency. Fold in dip, milk, butter, and salt, if desired.



TIP: Replace sour cream with a dairy-free alternative or make your own cashew cream. In a high-speed blender, combine 3/4 cup soaked cashews with 1 tbsp each apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and Garlic & Onion Nutritional Yeast Topper (or nutritional yeast) until smooth.

Prep-Ahead Tip: Peel and chop potatoes, place in a large container, and cover with cold water. Stir together sour cream and dip mix; cover. Refrigerate both up to two days.
